Established in 2023, and launched in July of 2024, the Newport Community Sailing Center brings sailing to all members of our vibrant Vermont community. We believe that access to the water, and the skills to navigate it, should be available to everyone regardless of age, background or ability. It’s our mission to inspire, educate, and empower locals and visitors alike to experience the unrivaled beauty of Lake Memphremagog the best way we know; on the water.

We offer a variety of ways to get out on the lake for all experience levels. Whatever your choice of vessel, we’re here to help you learn and access the equipment and skills you need to optimize your time enjoying Lake Memphremagog. Our fleet is operational from June through September for adult and children’s sailing lessons and sailboat rentals.
